How fast can you run?

My first experience with everquest was rather shocking to me. I played no games of this sort at the time,and never had! Untill that fateful day when i met Treenymph, Wrider and all the rest of the family you do and dont know about.
Now as i created a character, i picked a darkelf cleric :lol:
I didn't know what a cleric was, and only chose a darkelf because i thought they were pretty things.There was no realisation at the time that i was supposed to be evil.
So my darkelf cleric stumbled into the game with no tutuorial (me not knowing that it had one) and found myself in Nektulos Forest where looking around i was awed by what i saw.I began my journey to.....well i didnt know where i was going :? But as i ran about, which was about all i could do really, i found my health going down!
I wondered what the hell was going on! i had wondered up to a sorceress who made very short work of me.i then promptly ran into Neriak for a safe place to go, and even more promptly got very lost and camped out in utter frustration.
Since my first attemp was so much a disaster, my schooling began the very next day, as Treenymph and Wrider began to sternly teach me all they knew. I forget about the whip.......and the rack, they only used them for a short amount of a few months :twisted:
Thanks to them i can at least say i learnt enough to learn more :D

did someone say racK? WHERE? my first character was actually a highelf wizard and i decided very quick that highelves were just too damn pretty so i said nope (delete) then i made a woodelf bard was very cool i like the bbard cause 1. they lvl faster than anything (at the time they did anyway)
2. nothing can manipulate a mob quite like a bard.
got him to lvl 56 . then around the time shadows of lucling came out my (not quite 2 yo) son saw my eq up while i went to take a peepee .As i was relieving my self a shiverwent down my spine . I felt a disturbance in the force.Oh i did so love my bard he was the character i rollplayed hed go to the ec tunnals and tell stories ans give flowers and stuff to the pretty females.When i came back from the can i sat down,reached up to click the (enter world) button but there was a problemthere was no character so i laughed and said to my self hahaha my dumb ass loaded the wrong server so i rebooted as the computer rebooted id noticed it was very quiet.....a little too quiet. the computer loaded still no character then i realized what happened ......i was mad ...a little tooo mad .i played Diablo2 for another 2 weeks and decided to make another character but this time id show my anger by creating something evil and his name would be ....Vesago and i had more fun than i ever did on that goody goody bard being evil really is the way to go yankow.

Hehe,love your storie sweetie when i first started eq i did pretty much the same thing just walking around then woodeld forest scared and excited running into things i shouldn't. :D

haha you never told me that! glad to help my love, must be getting close to 4 years of playing EQ now and I still learn new things all the time. We've got a long way to go yet... at least we can do it together now.
