Website Change

Hi Everyone,

I know it might be a bit of a shock but I've decided to change the existing website to this system, it's a bit different, well a lot different but hopefully you will all get used to it in time ;)

There is still a lot of work to be done, giving members access to the right forums, sorting out the medals/awards pages (some template problems there which I hope to get sorted soon)

You should still be able to log in and post in many of the forums, but i will be sorting them out in time also, maybe combining some together, maybe deleting some that are not used etc.

I just wanted a new way of doing things here as the old site was getting too cluttered up with things that nobody ever used anymore either through lack of interest of upgrades in the game (like the in-game quest system)

If you know this system at all (vbulletin/vbadvanced) then please get in touch and maybe we can upgrade some more bits into it. I'm still trying to get a new theme/template for it unless I can get this one sorted out.

Oh my goodness me, gave me quite a turn this did.

Not quite sure yet, depends on what theme we end up with on this site...If i can't get certain parts of this fixed then I'm going to have to go with something else....

Ok, look down the screen, go on, do it now, see a little text box? well if you click on Quick reply that little box activates and you can reply quickly in there....otherwise you have to click on reply and it loads up another page and you have to wait for everything to load again before you can enter your reply.......

Thanks for all the effort matey - I#m sure it will be great. For now we will have to fumble our way around until we get used to it. But its a breath of fresh air!!!!

No need for me now to reward medals anymore as everyone has to request it and you just have to give it free :) :) :)

btw: I had to search a bit to find the options to enable the advanced editor LOL --> but this advanced editor is MUCH better than the old one of the other board!


The BIG fontstyle in the message before was because I used the very limited basic editor and inserted all codes by hand :eek:

Yep, I had to manually re-add all the medals..../phew.

After talking to kymm yesterday I noticed that you didn't have the advanced editor active on your account so I activated it for you and a few others who post a lot, I'm not sure why it didn't do it by default, oh well.

As for medals.....I can't add you as a moderator for them...but you can still request them for other people ;) (once I find a fix for the stupid templates of course)

ok - I requested a medal for Donii for Raid Leadership for leading raids for both BD's and TNF for our all benefit. This request is no test. ;)
If you do not receive the request via the request template please add it manually :cool:

I'll have to see if I can use that image somewhere else on here....I have ideas.
